- 4 baby onions, quartered
- 1 x 5 cm fresh ginger piece, peeled and sliced
- 4 garlic cloves
- 4 lemongrass stalks
- 2 red chillies, 1 seeded and both chopped
- 1 red pepper, grilled, sweated and peeled
- 30 g pine nuts
- 1 T turmeric powder
- 2 T cayenne pepper
- Salt a pinch
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend into a paste. Transfer to an airtight sterilized jar or plastic container and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
