  • 500 g tikka-flavoured lamb mince
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • ½ x 35 g can tomato purée
  • 2 T plain yoghurt
  • 8 pita breads
  • salad greens, for serving
  • lime halves, for serving

Roll the tikka-flavoured lamb mince into small balls.

Heat a non-stick pan and fry the meatballs in a little oil until golden brown.

Add  the diced onion and crushed garlic, reduce the heat and cook for a few minutes.

Add the can tomato purée and the plain yoghurt, season to taste and stir gently to combine.

Serve in pita breads with salad greens and lime halves.

Cook's note: Tikka-flavoured lamb mince is available from selected Woolworths stores. If you can't find it, simply season your mince with ready-made tikka masala paste or spice mix. Tikka is a hot Indian spice mix consisting of spices which normally include red pepper flakes, cumin seeds, ground coriander seeds and turmeric.
