  • 8 slices Woolworths ciabatta or country loaf
  • extra virgin olive oil, to drizzle for brushing
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 fresh large tomatoes
  • 100 g Spanish Serrano ham or Parma ham, for serving
  • caperberries and olive oil, for serving (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Preheat the grill.
Lightly brush the ciabatta slices with a little olive oil then rub with the garlic. Toast both sides under the grill. Cut the tomatoes in half and squeeze out the pips. Rub the toast with the flesh of the tomato.
Serve immediately with the Serrano or Parma ham and caperberries, if using.
