Ingredients

  • 1 T peanut oil
  • 150 g Woolworths exotic mixed mushrooms, sliced lengthways
  • 100 g green beans
  • 2 spring onions, halved
  • 1 x 297 g box Woolworths firm tofu
  • 1 T Woolworths Mamma O’s Premium Super Spicy Pepper Paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 x 10 cm piece ginger, finely sliced
  • 2 T soya sauce

Cooking Instructions

Heat the oil in a wok over a very high heat. Fry the mushrooms until golden brown, then remove from the pan. Do the same with the green beans and spring onions.

Rub the tofu with the Mamma O’s pepper paste and garlic and fry on both sides. Add all the ingredients to the wok and toss until coated.

Cook's note: Tofu, or bean curd, is widely used as a protein in east and southeast Asian dishes. It takes on the flavours of the other ingredients in a dish, whether sweet or savoury.
