Woolies launches fresh new takeaway outlet, Now Now

If you haven’t packed lunch but don’t have time to wait for a meal, the new takeaway outlet by Woolworths, NOW NOW, is the spot for you.

It’s fast, fresh, and good – offering tasty food synonymous with the Woolies’ quality you know and love.

Ordering at NOW NOW

To save you time, you can pre-order your meal using the NOW NOW app (available free in the iTunes and Android stores now). Simply place your order, select a collection time and pay. By the time you arrive at the counter, you can simply grab your order – and go!

Dishes are freshly sourced and globally inspired and the range includes gluten-, dairy- and wheat-free options, too. Expect favourites such as the bircher pot (a mix of organic rooibos, Bircher muesli, double-cream yoghurt, apple juice, cranberries and toasted seeds); the bacon bun (bacon, free-range egg, slow-cooked tomato sauce and baby spinach sandwiched between two toasted English muffins); or the avo pot (a perfect combination of avo, Rosa tomatoes and basil pesto). Other items on offer include a selection of wraps, pots, bowls and buns.

Pair your lunch with freshly juiced “shots” – we highly recommend the ginger cayenne one). Alternatively, choose from the selection of smoothies to get your fruity fix.

Finally, satisfy that caffeine craving with NOW NOW’s extensive coffee menu, offering everything from Americanos to lattes. The organic African beans are locally roasted and patrons can choose between Ayrshire and unsweetened almond milks.

The flagship NOW NOW outlet has already opened at 91 Longmarket Street, Cape Town. Expect more stores to open soon across South Africa.
