1 wheel of cheese, 3 ways

It could be a starter, it could be dessert… a whole ripe Camembert can be anything you want it to be, as long as you take it out of the fridge a few hours before serving

The cheese: baked camembert

Prepare Woolworths' Ready to Bake Camembert according to package instructions and serve with fresh thyme, a drizzle of honey and crackers or chunks of warm ciabatta - or follow one of the recipes below.

Drizzle a bunch of red grapes with olive oil and sea salt and roast on a baking tray at 180°C for 10–15 minutes. Serve over ripe Camembert with a drizzle of honey.

Pink-pepper-and-pecan-praline and camember

Melt 200 g sugar in a pan until golden brown, then pour onto baking paper to make a thin disc of caramel. Sprinkle with 100 g chopped pecan nuts and a good pinch of crushed pink peppercorns while still hot, then allow to cool completely to set. Crush over ripe Camembert to serve.

Sticky-satsumas and camember

Peel and halve 4 satsumas, then place in a pan, cut-side down, with 50 g butter and 30 g brown sugar. Caramelise over a medium heat for 5 minutes, then serve warm with the pan juices over ripe Camembert. Sprinkle with finely chopped pistachios.
