I’ve been seeing a lot of cornflakes being added to things online lately and figured they must be having a bit of a moment. So, I headed to Woolies to get a handful of ingredients to make a cornflake version of one of my favourite sweet treats of all time!
Ingredients
Method
- 150 g butter
- 400 g pink and white marshmallows
- 50 g Klim milk powder
- 4 cups cornflakes
- 1 t salt
Method
Ingredients
1. Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan. Add the marshmallows and stir continually until completely melted.
2. Add the milk powder and stir until combined. Add the cornflakes and gently stir to coat in the melted marshmallow mixture. Season with salt.
3. Grease and line a 20cm x 20cm square baking tin, then pour in the mixture and press down using a lightly greased spatula. Sprinkle with a bit of flaky salt if you like, then chill for 30 minutes. Cut into squares to serve.
