Gnocchi with creamy Boursin sauce

Crispy, golden gnocchi pan-fried until crispy, then tossed through a silky Boursin sauce that coats every pillow-like bite. Comfort food at its most indulgent in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Method
  • 150 g Boursin high-fat soft cheese with garlic & mixed herbs, plus optional extra to garnish
  • ½ cup fresh cream
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 T butter
  • 400 g Woolworths gnocchi Italian potato dumplings
  • fried basil leaves, to garnish (optional)
  • fried garlic, to garnish (optional)

Method

Ingredients

1. Heat the Boursin and cream in a pan over a low heat. Stir until the Boursin has melted and the sauce is thick and cohesive. Season to taste with sea salt and black pepper.

2. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil and butter and pan-fry the gnocchi until golden and crispy.

3. Serve with gnocchi with the Boursin cream sauce. Garnish with a few dollops of Boursin, the fried basil and fried garlic, if using.
