These air-fryer BBQ beef ribs take a ready-made Woolworths favourite and turn it into a quick dinner made for sharing. Twelve minutes in the air fryer crisps the sticky glaze, while spring onion and a crispy onion sprinkle add texture and freshness. A cool sour cream and chilli crunch dip balances the smoky, sweet ribs. Easy enough for a weeknight, generous enough for game nights and weekend entertaining.

Ingredients

Method
  • 1 kg Southern Smoky™ BBQ Beef Ribs, cut into individual ribs
  • For the rib topping sprinkle:

  • 50 g Woolworths crispy onion sprinkle
  • 1 mild spring onion, finely sliced
  • 1 seedless lime, zested
  • For the dip:

  • 250 ml sour cream
  • 2 T Woolworths chilli crunch, to taste

Method

Ingredients

1. Cut ribs lengthwise, along the bone, so you have individual ribs.

2. Airfry at 180°C for 12 minutes, basting after 8 minutes.

3. To make the rib topping, mix the ingredients together.

4. To make the dip, stir 1–2 T water into sour cream (to achieve the desired consistency) and top with chili crunch.

5. Scatter prepared topping sprinkle over prepared ribs. Serve with sour cream dip on the side.

Cook’s note: Grill the leftover limes, and squeeze over the ribs when serving for a little extra acidity.
