Chocolate brownie and mixed berry trifle

Ingredients

Method
  • 4 brownies with nuts
  • 200 g frozen berries
  • ½ cup crème de cassis liqueur
  • 1 cup Nestlé Caramel Treat
  • ½ cup cream
  • Crystallised kumquat jellies or crystallised fruit

Crumble the nut brownies into a tall tumbler. Top with the frozen berries and drizzle with the crème de cassis.

Mix the Caramel Treat with a splash of cream until glossy and smooth. Spoon this mixture on to the berries, top with crystallised kumquat jellies and serve.

Cook's note: Buy old-fashioned kumquat jellies at dried fruit counters.
