- 2 cups full-cream milk
- 1 t instant coffee
- 4 t white sugar
- 2 t boiling water
1. Heat the milk in a small saucepan over a medium heat.
2. Combine the coffee, sugar and boiling water in a bowl. Using a hand-held beater or electric mixer, whisk the coffee until it forms stiff peaks – it should be thick and creamy.
3. Divide the warm milk between two cups and top each one with 1 T whipped coffee.
Cook's notes: If you'd like an iced coffee, top cold milk with the whipped coffee. Sprinkle the whipped coffee with cocoa before serving. Replace the milk with the nut milk of your choice, we love making it with almond or oat milk.
