Honey-butter French toast with crème brûlée ice cream

Viral honey-butter French toast gets an upgrade with Woolworths Dairy Dream crème brûlée ice cream. Think beautifully caramelised edges topped with a custard-flavoured ice cream complete with caramel ripples and sugar crystals.

Ingredients

Method
  • 6 T salted butter, softened
  • 4 T honey
  • 110 g brown sugar
  • 1 loaf brioche, thickly sliced
  • 1 x 2- litre tub Woolworths Dairy Dream crème brûlée vanilla custard flavoured dairy ice cream
  • 2 T Woolworths macchiato caramel sauce

Method

Ingredients

1. Mix the butter, honey and brown sugar in a small bowl. Spread the flavoured butter onto both sides of the brioche slices.

2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium high heat.

3. Toast each side of the brioche in the pan until caramelised and a slight crust has formed.

4. Pile onto a plate and top with scoops of ice cream.

5. Gently heat the sauce for one minute in the microwave and drizzle over the French toast before serving.
