  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 t Dijon mustard
  • 1 T soya sauce
  • 1 T mirin or dry red wine
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

Cooking Instructions

Mix all the ingredients until well incorporated. Use as a dipping sauce for crispy fried chicken.

Cook's note: Make this sweet-savoury sauce to enjoy with the chicken katsu.
