- 250 g cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 T caster sugar
- 1 T red wine vinegar
Halve the cherry tomatoes and chop the red onion.
Gently fry over a medium to high heat in the olive oil for 5 minutes, or until soft. Reduce the heat and add the caster sugar and vinegar.
Simmer for 10 minutes until slightly reduced, season to taste and serve hot with boerewors straight off the coals.
