Turn two-minute noodles into a mac-and-cheese lookalike with this instant cheese sauce (just add cream and cheese!) as well as frozen sweetcorn and bacon. It's a fast feast for lunch, dinner or an anytime snack.


  • 200 g Woolworths frozen roasted Mexican-style corn mix
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 x 250 g packet bacon
  • 2 x 75 g packets Woolworths quicksticks two-minute noodles  
  • 100 g Cheddar or Parmesan, grated

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Fry the corn mix in the butter until slightly golden. Add the cream and reduce for 5 minutes.
2. Crisp up the bacon in the oven, this should take 5–10 minutes.
3. Cook the noodles without the flavour sachet. Serve with the corn, bacon and grated cheese.
