Smoked cheese-and-bacon pork griller skewers

Ingredients

  • 350 g Woolworths smoked cheese-and-bacon pork grillers
  • 250 g Woolworths snacking peppers, halved and seeded
  • 2 large baby marrows, cut into ribbons
  • 2 red onion, cut into large petals
  • 2 T olive oil
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 T crème fraîche
  • 4 T basil pesto

Method

  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Slice the pork grillers into rounds and thread one or two onto a skewer, followed by the peppers, baby marrows and red onion petals. Repeat until the skewers are full.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season.
  4. Heat a griddle pan until very hot and grill each skewer for 5–7 minutes on each side, or until cooked and slightly charred.
  5. Mix the crème fraîche and basil pesto and serve with the skewers.
