Hear us out – this may sound a bit unconventional, but this is an easy and delicious take on a classic bunny chow. The venison frikkadels come in a readymade Durban-style curry sauce, so all you have to do is cook them in an air-fryer, then pop them into bread for a quick meal.

Woolworths venison frikkadels are made with coarsely minced free-range venison – offering a rich, earthy, game-meat flavour – and paired with a Durban-style curry – a vibrant, red-hued, hot and spicy gravy – the result is something totally unexpected but completely delicious. Enjoy it over rice for the most comforting warm bowl or tuck into a mini bunny chow for a wholly and truly South African dish.
