Craving something a little summery? This is for you. Grab some locally grown strawberries and we’ll give you 15 luscious ways to use them.

STRAWBERRY TURKISH DELIGHT STACK

This no-bake treat takes just 15 minutes to make. It’s so simple and totally tasty.

Tip: Bring strawberries to room temperature before serving: they will have a much better flavour.

HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE

Two rounds of light, fluffy sponge sandwiched together with a decent dollop of double-thick cream and succulent strawberries with a dusting of icing sugar for good measure. Sounds phenomenal, yes?

Tip: Place sliced strawberries on kitchen paper to absorb the juice before decorating the cake to avoid “bleeding”.

DIPPED STRAWBERRIES

A three-ingredient emergency dessert: fresh strawberries, chopped nuts and the chocolate of your choice. Hello, fresh summer feels!

Tip: To get strawberries perfectly dry after washing, use a salad spinner. The drier the strawberry, the more easily the chocolate will adhere to the fruit.

STRAWBERRIES WITH A SPLASH OF COCONUT

File this one under easiest desserts ever! Get a delicious helping of freshness with a subtle nutty flavour with quartered strawberries served with whipped coconut milk and topped with coconut shavings.

Tip: Only wash strawberries just before you plan to use them – and keep their caps on while doing so. Remove the stems once patted dry – this will help retain their flavour.
