Easy gingerbread house

By Jacqueline Burgess

Serves Makes 1 house

Difficulty Easy

Cooking Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

1 Woolworths Easy to Bake gingerbread house kit
sweets, for decorating (optional)

Method

1. Make the gingerbread house according to package instructions.

2. Mix the royal icing and spoon into the piping bag.

3. Decorate the gingerbread pieces with the icing and stud with rainbow and silver pearls and rainbow stars.

4. Pipe some icing onto a flat plate and balance the two rectangular pieces to form a roof-shaped structure. Add the triangular pieces on each end, and glue into place using more icing. Hold steady until icing has set slightly, and the house feels sturdy. Position the gingerbread men outside the house.

Cook's note: You can add more icing and your favourite sweets and decorate the house further.
