Ingredients

  • 500g 250g Woolies Linguine Pasta
  • 1 packet 600g Woolies Sun Dried Tomato and Pecorino Pasta Sauce
  • 210g 210g Woolies Chorizo Sarta Pork Sausage
  • 400g 400g Prawns (shelled and cleaned)
  • 250g 125g Bacon (streaky or back bacon)
  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp Sugar
  • 40g 40g Parmesan Grated Hard Cheese
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp Black pepper (ground)
  • 1tsp 1tsp Crushed Chilli flakes
  • 2tsp 2tsp Garlic (Crushed or whole)
  • 1tsp 1tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 1/2 Onion

Cooking Instructions

Marinate prawns with:
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1tsp of sunflower oil
- 1/2 tsp of crushed garlic
- 1tsp lemon juice
Set the prawns aside
In pan fry the bacon until crispy and set aside
Fry prawns in garlic butter on a medium to high heat
To cook the pasta:
Boil 1/2 pot of water (small to medium pot)
Add salt to taste and a bit of oil
Add pasta
Pasta must be al dente
Slice chroizo in rings
Slice onion
In a pan fry the chorizo, onion and add the garlic
Chorizo must be cooked through
To note chorizo is oily so do not add too much of oil to pan when frying
Add the pasta sauce (Sun Dried Tomato and Pecorino Pasta Sauce) to the fried chorizo
Add cooked pasta
Add the fried prawns to the pasta
Slice up the bacon and top the pasta with bacon
Serve with parmesan and crushed chilli
