Ingredients

  • 1Bunch Woolworths Fresh Green Kale
  • 3-4 tablespoons Woolworths Mediterranean Olive Oil
  • Woolworths Sea Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • White Pepper Powder
  • Red Chilli Flakes
  • 2-3 cloves Fresh Garlic

Cooking Instructions

Wash and rinse kale thoroughly.
De-stem and dry the leaves.
Cut or tear kale leaves into small bite-size pieces.
Season with salt, black pepper, white pepper and chilli flakes according to taste.
Then add the chopped garlic, drizzle with olive oil and mix well.
Place in a singe layer on an oven baking sheet.
Bake at 180 degrees celsius for approximately 15-20 minutes.
(Cook's note: Kale chips should turn slightly brownish purple in colour when fully crisp.)

Serve: On its own as a delicious vegan-friendly, keto-friendly, healthy snack alternative, or crumbled over salads and soups.

    Sound absolutely delicious!!!! I’ve so many times looked at the table on the back of a bag of Kale Chips – and always astounded by the fat content … till I noticed they add seeds/nuts to the kale. Will have to try your recipe.
