Ingredients

For the jam:

6 ClemenGold®️ mandarins, sliced or cut into wedges
1/2 cup honey
2 lemons, zested
4 cardamom pods
2 star anise
2 cloves
2 T Woolworths coconut sugar

For the toasted brioche:

1 T butter
2 slices Woolworths brioche loaf
Boerenkaas cheese, for serving

Method

1. To make the jam, preheat the oven to 200°C. Place all the ingredients in a baking tray and roast for 45–60 minutes, or until sticky and golden.

2. To assemble, melt the butter in a non-stick pan and toast the brioche on both sides. Top with the Boerenkaas and ClemenGold®️ jam.
