This easy cheeseboard makes a great idea for Christmas or a dinner party. Simply freeze the grapes and serve with camembert, Melba toast and fresh figs.

Ingredients

  • 125 g Camembert or Brie
  • 160 g Melba toast
  • 500 g Frozen grapes
  • 160 g Fresh figs
  • Cranberries, to sprinkle over the cheese
  • Nuts of your choice, to sprinkle over the cheese

Cooking Instructions

1. To freeze the grapes, wash them and then place on paper towel on a baking tray. Allow to dry completely, before placing in the freezer.

2. Serve with the Camembert, Melba toast and soft, fresh figs.

Cook's tips:

It's best to use seedless grapes for freezing as the pips can become rather hard when frozen. Red grapes tend to be a little sweeter than green ones which makes them a better candidate for freezing, as things taste less sweet when frozen. Frozen grapes are also delicious dipped in melted dark chocolate, eaten as is, for a snack, or added to a smoothie.
